By Jody

Your eyes were like the sunshine
They brightened up my day
They made my skies turn royal blue
From the deepest grey

Your hair was silk and golden blonde
Blowing gracious in the breeze
Your walk and the bounce there in your step
Sent me weak down to my knees

Your smell was near perfection
The scent of sweet perfume
The scent of rolling meadows
Of flowers in full bloom

Your mouth was soft and tender
Your lips so sweet to taste
But those sweet cherry kisses
With deceit and lies were laced

How long had it been going on?
And what the fucks his name?
How dare you do this to me?
You’ve got yourself to blame

Your eyes now bruised and battered
Staring distant into space
No signs of life there to be seen
Death written across your face

Your hair tangled and mattered
A deep shade of blood red
No longer blowing in the wind
Rather limp, lifeless instead

Your smell is rather pungent
The rank stench of decay
A faecal, sweaty, fluid smell
Eminates from where you lay

Your smile so sweet and lovely
Now extends up to your ears
I couldn’t help but hack your face
And hack away my tears

I didn’t intend to kill you
It just turned out to be so
I’ll bury you in the garden
No one needs to know.
