RE: I've actually been having ideas again!
- Remember that the main goal is to write things, and exchange sympathetic noise with other writers.
- Don't break the law. Do not post copyrighted material, or slanderous material.
- Don't post pornography. Since that's so much in the eye of the beholder, err on the side of asking me first. Really.
- Don't post hate material. I decide what's hate material, subject to changing my mind if I'm wrong.
- Don't call names. I just can't stand it. Perhaps the other poster is a liberal moron, but keep that to yourself.
In the history of this site, I've only had to come down on people a couple of times, and reset one (1) member's password. (See thou the Bleachers for some choice namecalling, and guess which member I mean.) Far as I know, he still thinks we're all idiots who can't write and can't argue.
Less important than these rules: I want Unreason to be a place where, when you're writing, you can feel free to take risks. Be bizarre. Be vaguely weird. And nobody will look down their nose at you for it, or call you names. You can be assured, by posting here, that while the occasional temper may flare we like each other here. The people who post here I consider my friends in one fashion or another. Even friends lose their patience with each other once in a while, but when tempers cool and apologies go out dinner next week is still at my house.
