[For your reading pleasure,  new to the Essays section]

I wrote a whole essay on Marianas Trench & the Fear of Deep Water. I
finished, I clicked in the "post" box & the site disaf--kingpeared. There's
no trace of it. Trying to post something is not supposed to make it
disappear. So what DID you do to it? If you don't want it don't hoard or hide
it. Here's what you're going to do. You're going to either put it on display,
or you are going to make it available for retreaval, or you are going to
explain what happened.

That's the one I wrote afterwards in its place. The original one is still
gone. If it was too long, why didn't you just say, so I can shorten it-rather
than delete it?
