When I wanted to cry
Thank you for making me feel so great
That I felt like I could fly
Thank you for all of our over an hour long talks
And all of our long walks

Forgive me for when I wasn’t there
And you thought it was unfair
Forgive me for when I couldn’t get you to laugh
And I felt so very daft
Forgive me for when I would steal your line
And use it all of the time
But know that I love you
You’re like my sister too

Forgive me for the times you were feeling blue
And I didn’t comfort you because I had no clue
Forgive me for the things that I should’ve done
And you thought that I was ruining the fun
Forgive me for the things I’ll never do
And know that I had my reasons too
Just like you

To show that my friendship is true
So that if you ever lose trust

Through thick and thin
Even though sometimes you didn’t think we would win
