Art Lesson By: Rachelle King on 1/30/2003; 4:22 PM Graffiti: manifestation of windblown ideology Eye soar to America's bloated sociology Shredded concrete lying at their feet Back draft: jagged belly of an e coming out from under me Mucho Gracias, Ralphy lesson given in love transformed forever territory left by pen's ink
RE: Art Lesson By: Richard Davidson on 1/30/2003; 6:03 PM I love graffiti! Usually it's much more interesting than the surface it's painted upon. Some exceptions would be rocks, trees, and other natural objects, but as far as railway bridges, etc, feel free! And it is every bit as natural to define territory with a magic marker as it is for a cat to go around peeing on everything.
RE: Art Lesson By: Rachelle King on 1/31/2003; 4:24 AM That's what I'm screamin'!!! Now, if we could just get those damn bureaucrats to stop wasting our tax dollars on painting over graffiti every single day, the same exact spot. It's not even like it looks any better when they paint over. They use some off color that doesn't even match the original paint on the wall or they use some shade of white to paint on concrete. Any idiot can tell what's under the smear of sloppy paint!
RE: Art Lesson By: Richard Davidson on 1/31/2003; 6:38 PM They're just afraid somebody will have to read the "f" word. That would be just AWFUL!
