What Might Have Been By: Jeff Moore on 12/11/2002; 5:37 AM Youre a special friend. A lady with a certain way Of bring joy when you come my way, And now youre gone. To another home. But what might have been? What could we have had in another day? I thought about it as you turned away. What could have been, If fate was kind? And now I dream, As in A Wonderful Life, Id like a chance to see, What might have been for you and me. But that was just a show, And Ill never really know. For the years were wrong. When I turned twenty-five, you were still a teen. A world away, we could not have seen What might have been. More than just a friend? I know that soon, You refind your love, rejoin your life with his, Sleeping Beauty awakened by her prince, But Ill still think of you, And what might have been.

It had nothing to do with the desire to drink Kosher wine. He just really liked it, although I couldn't tell you if he knew how to spell it. Different strokes, I guess.
