One of the pieces of the Barn Raising is a reconfiguring of the links page. Right now it's my personal portal, which is great if you're me but less useful if you're not me. It's going to be replaced with a weblog, all members will have permission to post, linking to and/or reporting on new and interesting information about writing. News about writing, places online to go and read or write, anything that seems to fit into the general theme of being an author or being a reader. It will probably include one of those third-party newsfeeds from Moreover or some such. I'd also like to build a little mini-Yahoo! index of featured sites.
Until then, there's really no permanent place for links like The Mad Prince of Compton. I got the link in the mail today, and it's similar to us save it's just the one author. There are things to read there. I'm all for reading. And the Mad Prince can be sure he'll be right up top when the new weblog and index roll in...
