Say Dill

Say Dill
Friends, think of all the things they do!
Friends grow
Like a flower
Friends help
Like an information desk
Friends support
Like a bungee cord
Friends never go away
Like annoying teachers
Friends are super cool
Unlike parents
Friends do fun things
Like going to the movies
Friends fight
Like cats
Friends love
Like puppies
Friends laugh
Like hyenas
Friends give
Like The Giver
Friends act stupid
Like an ID-10-T virus
Friends constantly e-mail
Like a pesky bug
Friends do homework
Like a tutor
Friends soothe
Like mom
Friends share
Like siblings
Friends cry
Like it was their problem
Friends crush on the same guys
Like arch enemies do
Friends know when to talk and when to listen
Because itÂ’s their job!
Thank God for friends!

Hey, Vanessa, welcome to Unreason! I always ask, how did you hear about us?

I'll set your authors page in the next day or so, and get you published. You might want to edit your poem--carriage returns require a <br>; read the formatting instructions for more detail. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

I love new authors. Again, welcome!

Vanessa, you're all published. If you submit a bio, we'll add it to your author page.

hey! thanx! i'm so glad i joined. i joined b/c i know PJ caroon and i told him i had a dilema, i had to submit something to be published for an english class for points, and i didn't want to publish it in a contest or someplace where millions of people would read it (i mean, not that that many people wouldn't read it here necessarily, but its different for some reason, i don't know why) n e way! that is how i found out about it! i really like it so far! thanx again!

We seem to get a lot of that here. I'm glad--always nice to see new blood. But I'm
doubly glad that you didn't just post and bail. We had a gaggle of Matthew Patterson's
schoolmates post one thing and never show up again. I'd rather build a community of
people who return and contribute and improve the site.

Just to clarify - not my fault!
