A Storm in Me By: Rachelle King on 10/28/2001; 11:31 PM How to recount the aspects of a storm that stays and withdrawals as it pleases... Leaving a desert behind filled with implicit words from past afflictions? How to convey it by conventional means... this desolate place you leave behind in me? Retrospection-my life lacks there of. Faith-a reified abstraction filling the voids between peoplekind. God(s)-manmade or a superior intelligence residing in a sort of above. Define your truth for your eyes alone, please. Island, are you still there? Are you going under the tides? Sinking... in what? A crucifixion to suffer next from their concocted holy waters, blessed by all those catholic priests now dying of AIDS. The same disease they once dismissed as the reckoning come for all those naughty gays & lesbians. To compare self with shelf seems to paramount a conception. Did you think of it alone, or with a biased infliction? Bent on you own self-destruction- [self-deluded] I cant say whether you stumbled upon some rights But I can tell by now, how much it brings me down from my mirage of heights.
