Today... By: Mark Morgan on 9/22/2001; 11:54 AM ...my enormous goldfish died, which is very sad. ...my enormous goldfish clogged up the toilet, which is hilarious. Life slowly returns to only mostly abnormal in the wake of September 11, 2001. Take care of your loved ones. I gotta go get a plunger.

RE: Today... By: Mark Morgan on 11/29/2001; 11:44 PM What the hell is it with fish? Now Aradia's fish jumps out of the tank when I open the lid to give it food. He survived so far--I got him back in the tank. I'm afraid to go in there and see if he's still okay. What kind of survival trait it that?!! Maybe I'll buy a turtle next. Holy crap!

RE: Today... By: Matthew Patterson on 11/30/2001; 5:19 PM Well, surely it's obvious that every decision made by an organism isn't necessarily beneficial for its survival. I'm not driving a 14-year-old manual transmission van with a broken air conditioner, power nothing, a broken driver's side door lock (at least it's stuck locked instead of the other way around), and no headliner for my health, for example. Or if you want an animal kingdom example, I've had several cats climb to the tops of fairly high trees in my backyard and then break their legs trying to jump off them and reach the roof. RE: Today... By: Evan on 12/14/2001; 7:27 PM Goldfish should be given proper burials with little headstones are maybe even a tomb. Also, never pet your goldfish, I used to pet mine and people have told me that might have been what killed him.
