                     they stand guard
                over the graves of the dead
                         silently


hot tendrils dance their ritual with grace in the wind

smoky blooms ghost-like wreath the monument pyre-fed

Wow... short, but it expresses so very much... LIKE YOU! Short people are great. I love this poem, chI. It has a swirling, glistening, dream-like state to it... but so much reality in its message. I like it very very much.

you know what's funny? I meant this to be a haiku in 5-7-5 form, but somewhere along the circuts in my brain it got cut to 3-7-3... how odd.
