The month away By: Chie Theresa Fujioka on 9/14/2001; 12:47 AM HEY!! Everyone, yes I am back, and hopefully for goo. d So I guess I'll fill ya in on what be happens. Firstly. my address is ask me for it ehhe Secondly, I have a cell phone that has the internet. SO you can email me on the road at ask me again dont send me big stuff tho the number is my cell phone number, so you might just try calling me but you have to add the international code. i think it is 081 or something like that. my house phone is something... ive got a camera in my cell phone :) anndd I've written some stuff to post... eventually. hrmm im getting cable soon... and meg's wedding is the 29th og june so im gonna be in town 1-2 weeks before. (i get out of school the 11th or so) I have a 3 week xmas vacation so most likely I'll be online etc i really have to use the wc now so bye!!

That said, welcome back! I'm not kidding about the site redesign and elimination of the current discussion area. Hopefully that will make the site work better for everyone.

There needs to be a >good way to get around that. The mailing list is on a 15 minute delay from the website posting. That is, when you post something through your browser, it doesn't go out to e-mail for 15 minutes. When you e-mail something, it goes out in e-mail instantly. There's no way to unsend an e-mail, I'm afraid. The newsgroup pretty much updates like the website, so when you edit a piece the newsgroup is automatically updated to reflect changes. I picked 15 minutes to give people a chance to have second thoughts, but still allow the mailing list to participate in vigorous debates (like the recent one on creationism and evolution).
