Jesus was crucified by people thinking they were doing the will of God by killing him. A few days ago, some people, believing they were doing the will of God (apparently) killed several thousand people. Can you say the same?
RE: Forgive them, for they do not know what they do. By: ScottN on 9/14/2001; 1:11 AM Completely different situation. Jesus had been tried and convicted in both civil and ecclesiastical courts. The people on the planes and in the WTC had done absolutely NOTHING to those who killed them.
