Evil

President Bush points to the source of evil, while congratulating his nation on its civility and righteousness. Meanwhile, pundits speak of united, national support for retribution. We must track down those responsible and any sheltering societies: root them out and make them pay for the dispicable act! Nevermind that all sides see their cause as holy. The only pertinent cause is unity and revenge for our righteous way of life. The enemy is evil.
How should a world leader address the wrongs? Is it the sole responsibility of the media to interpret the truth? Is it a president's job to coldly promote his or her own nation's "interests"? Who else will give voice for the world's understanding?
