Overheard By: Mark Morgan on 8/5/2001; 10:43 AM He: (Gesturing grandly at the piles of boxes in the living room) Okay, honey, we'll put the seating areas here, and here, in the living room. She: Seating areas? Yeah. We'll get a big chair that fits two people, and a loveseat. No, we won't. Why not?!! Because we have no money. We spent it on my eggplant-chateau car. Oh. And you still don't get to drive it. Oh.
RE: Overheard By: Evan on 8/5/2001; 7:53 PM Well there's always inflatable furniture.
RE: Overheard By: Aradia on 8/5/2001; 8:21 PM Mark, babe, I believe the appropriate phrase is akin to..."Bite me." See, folks, we'd have the money, but someone decided he wanted to move all of his stuff. With a big truck. In the middle of a financial crunch. I, being the bookkeeper that I am, has mentioned many a time that there is no money for that...and he talks about buying furniture? I ask you, who's going to move it when my lease expires?

Re: Overheard By: Mark Morgan on 8/6/2001; 10:53 AM >lol.. guys guys mark are u in portland?? i am goin' there!! Yes, we are...the best city, in the best state. And it would have made so much more sense for us to keep paying two rents, really it would have. Really.
Re: Overheard By: Aradia on 8/6/2001; 11:10 AM Grounded...stuck in reality...feet on the earth, head on the ground...that sort of thing, Minister? It's great fun.
Re: Overheard By: Aradia on 8/6/2001; 11:12 AM Of course it would have worked so much better if we hadn't hauled your junk clear across the city to begin with. 'Cause remember, MY apartment is right next door to your old one...
Re: Overheard By: Mark Morgan on 8/6/2001; 11:32 AM Why yes, I should have had precognition, and known that we were going to get engaged long before it happened. Ladies and gentlemen, the Bickersons!
Re: Overheard By: Matthew Patterson on 8/6/2001; 12:31 PM You should get a sitcom. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com

Re: Overheard By: ScottN on 8/9/2001; 9:26 PM If you keep him well grounded, he won't give you much static... Just a little EE humor!
RE: Overheard By: Aradia on 8/10/2001; 2:09 AM In order to prevent the static, what I should do is smother him with tons of dryer sheets. Somedays, he just deserves it.
RE: Overheard By: Evan on 8/10/2001; 1:16 PM Also, never let him jump on a trampoline. I had a lot of fun jumping and building up a charge and then poking people. We had lots of shock wars. Oh and never put a snake on a trampoline they really don't like it. My brother got bitten by one that way.
RE: Overheard By: Aradia on 8/10/2001; 3:54 PM Considering that I have a near snake-phobia, I don't think putting snakes on trampolines will be happening any day soon. But thank you for the advice.
