The World of Taundra By: Mark Morgan on 3/11/2002; 7:53 AM by AradiaWelcome to my little escape from reality! I will be brief and to the point, since this is supposed to be brief and to the point. It's all of the legalities and other information you never wanted to know (but I need to mention). The very first thing: One big thank you to Mark Morgan. Without his help, and his offer, Taundra would remain on my pitiful hard drive, as I tried to continue figuring out if I wanted to upload to a website. Yes, I have way too much to do and not enough time to do it all. Also, a thank you to Jason Coplen for providing his wonderful fantasy setting; it is upon Olendiak that I base (but do not copy) Taundra. To Crisantema Tapia, thank you is not enough. She is my editor, my best friend, and my link to reality. I also couldn't do it without her (and she knows that). Next - the legalities. Taundra, the people, the setting, the religions, the history, all of that minutiae is copyright to me. No one else. If that changes, I will mention it. In other words, I worked hard to create this new world and all that goes with it; please don't rip me off. We all know that even if you aren't making a profit, you can still infringe on my copyrights, right? Right. On that note, I shall end this brief and simple notice. I welcome email with questions, comments, or constructive criticism. I hope that you enjoy your journey through the world of Taundra, and as the Taundrans say: 'May the gods protect thee on thy journies, and the winds be kind.' Update - 7 May 2000: I have expanded my permission to use Taundra and its people and setting to a few people, not including Crisantema Tapia. The first is to Nathan Schultz, who holds the copyright to a couple of the characters, and who is absolutely willing to hold long distance conference calls with me to hash out the minor details. The second is to Lesley Hickman, who also holds the copyright to a few characters. She's the only one from the "old group" that I still talk with regularly. The last is to Mark Morgan. It is the least I can do for him. Update - 18 January 2002: After much discussion with Jason Coplen, it appears that we are going to be merging Taundra and Olendiak into one world, but extremly separate continents. Maybe. If you're interested in being a part of the discussion on that, send me an inquiry.
