The Center Holds By: Mark Morgan on 6/27/2001; 7:01 PM Aradia holds my hand while I smile and say I am fine. Then holds my head while I cry and admit no, I'm not fine. Such is love, and may you find such a thing for your life. It's irreplaceable. It keeps me from feeling like someone is hitting me in the head with a two by four, all day long. I sat there Tuesday Night, and thought: I never want my life to change from this. This has been a tiring, frustrating, and very saddening month. It's been the best month of my adult life. I love her. Me: Will you marry me? She: Yes.
RE: The Center Holds By: Evan on 6/27/2001; 10:19 PM Congratulations!!!!!!!!! I hope that you enjoy your soon to be acquired state of marital bliss. I was trying to think of something else to say but nothing particularly relevant comes to mind, except about the possibility of sending some howler monkeys and Crisco to your bachelor party if you have one.

RE: The Center Holds By: ScottN on 6/29/2001; 11:31 AM Mazel Tov! Congratulations to both of you. I hope you have as much happiness as Mrs. ScottN and I have had together.
RE: The Center Holds By: Richard Davidson on 6/29/2001; 10:41 PM Congratulations! As a man who will soon be wedded to the woman of his dreams, I can definately empathize with the joy you're feeling right now. It only gets better, believe me.
RE: The Center Holds By: Peter on 6/30/2001; 4:32 PM Well done to you both. Best of luck in the future. Marrying someone you first met on the internet . . . yeeeesh, the Conservative in me is absolutely terrified by the idea of that. I can't imagine there will be many cases of that anywhere in the world. Anyway, what is a Batchelor Party, Evan? Peter.

Actually, the youth director at my old church met his wife on the Internet several years ago. They're coming up on their second anniversary this year. It's not as unthinkable as it seems, though it is rare. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com

Re: The Center Holds By: Richard Davidson on 6/30/2001; 7:36 PM The woman I'm marrying in only two short weeks is someone I met on the internet. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in.
Re: Congratulations! By: Katy Kat on 7/1/2001; 12:51 AM It is really wonderful this day in age to see people making marriage work. Via the internet or not. Congrats on all your marriages. Congrats to 8 years or more of love. Congrats too on your upcoming marriages - both men, I sincerely wish all the best for all of you. May you be blessed with rich lives and many healthy children! (I always wish for more children, since having them IS the most rewarding thing anyone can ever personally do!) As one of the few females on here, I will of course be interested in hearing all about the weddings, dress colours, reception decorations, and stuff! Just remember that a good marriage always takes work and its when you stop working, thinking that nothing will change, that it goes bad. :-)
