What's up with this forum? By: Richard Davidson on 6/10/2001; 2:37 PM I have four stories: (Australian tales parts I II and II, and Chapter I: The Wooden Ranch) that I've posted here over the last couple of months that are not linked to the front page, or my Author page. If they're just going to get lost in the daily discussion groups, I'm not going to continue posting here. Could someone please explain this to me? I've always enjoyed posting, but now find it hard to continue my stories, as I simply can't FIND them anymore!

We're told (by him and Aradia) that he'll be back online in a week or two, and will get everything straightened out then. Seth
RE: What's up with this forum? By: Brian Webber on 6/10/2001; 9:56 PM I have an issue too! I posted an introduction to something I'm calling The Westword Series. Then, I post Part 1 of said series. For some reason, the Introduction disappeared! And this sin't the first the site has done something this fukcing stupid to me. The day I posted Mile High, my short story in progress, a article about napster disapperead as well! Mark, fix the fucking site!

BTW, if you posted this story by using your web browser, I suspect your browser cached the __NewThread__ page, so what you really ended up doing was entering the introduction and hitting submit. Then hitting New/Edit, pasting the first part, but then your introduction text was simply replace by the first part rather than creating a new message. This is the only thing that makes sense since the only part that came through via e-mail was Part 1 -- never saw any introduction cross my desk.
Re: What's up with this forum? By: Matthew Patterson, the Paranoid Minister on 6/10/2001; 11:21 PM Like, really, chill. I don't know why you think screaming and swearing will fix everything. It doesn't work on Nitcentral and it won't work here. Mark can't fix anything right now because he does not have access to the Internat. Being overbearing and demanding is probably going to make him want to fix your problems last when he does get back online. Besides, is there anything preventing you from simply reposting the intro?
Re: What's up with this forum? By: Chie Theresa Fujioka on 6/11/2001; 1:08 PM yes i have to agree. what's up with this forum? it lacks patience. I know everyone has stuff to be published, but i think everyone understands the lack of time that accompanies moving, along with the high time demand updating any site takes. So just chill, mark said to email him/repost work that you wanted to be published that he might miss. Is an absense from the lime light such a painful depletion that you have to swear? now then... just to let everyone know... Im moving... to japan! but i have no clue when... and i cant remember my address.. all i know is Tokyo. so dont be surprised if I just completely disappear (big loss heh) :) love you guys!! chie Oh! And by the way, my pearl harbor essay was published in a small philadelphia A&E newspaper called the weekly press through this site i believe. Cool huh?
Re: What's up with this forum? By: Dorothy Marie on 6/13/2001; 1:34 AM Woah! Great job, Chie! To the rest of you... yeah. Do what they said. Be patient until Mark gets a chance, and just remember what you've posted and around which day it was. That's really all anyone can do right now.
