Forgive By: Dorothy Marie on 10/21/2001; 5:28 PM Cleanse my soul of sin past sin past but to return again. Still lurking in my memory, a sin committed in enmity. To take back as was given forth Such thoughts conceived is not a choice. But, I must live with which I bade come from my lips. To reverse an ill-timed time, to undo what actions mine, to choose yet another course. That course remaining coarse as the one first taken. All reason, I am not mistaken, is reasonably conceived to be all it is, of will not free. But fate oversees the possibility from all life actions. Welcome reality.
RE: Forgive By: Evan on 5/9/2001; 7:55 AM Hoo boy! I know what you mean there. I get terrible waves of guilt for whatever I do that I perceive as wrong. Going 5 miles over the speed limit to avoid being forced off the road by eighteen wheelers fills me with guilt but my friends tell me that the police would laugh at me if I turned myself in. I'm inclined to agree since they break the traffic laws more than I do. The only things I've done bad that I haven't really felt badly about was gargling in public, and that's just a protest on my part as I believe the anti-gargling in public law is unfair.
