"Five is right out!" By: Mark Morgan on 4/15/2001; 10:05 AM What, you haven't visited the5k.org? Are you insane? They have a 5k chess game over there! Move, minion! Seriously, it's a fantastic site full of fantastic examples of why a web publishers have zero excuse to make huge, bloated, flash-powered monstrosities that slouch painfully through standard dialup connections. It's convinced me that I need to focus on some behind the scenes, you can't see them but I can, tidying up that needs to be done around here. People who participate through the newsgroup or the mailing list won't be able to tell, but I think I'm going to segregate news and updates about the site off Dreamzone and onto their own announcements page. Dreamzone is going to focus on my life as a writer. And if anyone else wants their own journal/weblog here at Unreason to write about their writing life, just ask. Take two minutes to set you up. Give or take rendering the admin system pages. I say "I think I'm going to" because I have zero desire to put any more links in the top navigation. Time to think of some smart solution.
