Fictional Escape By: Sam Marston on 10/21/2001; 5:57 PM I sit in the shadow behind the rest, A tattered book clasped to my chest. When your only friends live in fiction, Real life exists ina painfull friction. I live the battles, feel the hero's plight. Please dont force me into the light. Swords, and elves, and lazer beams. These are the creatures of my dreams. When the book closes, I feel real life erupt. Outcast, ridiculed, I get beaten up. But I can escape, for an hour or a day.
