More election news
By: Mark Morgan on 11/9/2000; 8:41 PM

The nanobots insist that they actually won the election and are demanding a recount.

Meanwhile, early reports of my live birth appear to have been in error. My existence is too close to call.

In other news, based on reports that many people voted for the lesser evil, Cthulhu is demanding a recount as well.

Cthulhu for President! Why vote for the lesser evil?

This just in: the existence of the universe may have been reported prematurely. It's still too close to call, and we're moving it to the "undecided" column.

ScottN:

I tried to vote for Cthulhu but after I left the voting place I was convinced I had accidentally voted for Azathoth. Imagine my embarrassment.

Personally I think when Gore said that this election was a choice between good and evil was clearly an outrageous attempt to suppress turnout of the Dark Minions.

As for a recount, imagine this possibility -- what if Cthulhu wins the electoral college but loses the popular vote!!! There goes his mandate for evil right out the door.

Late breaking developments: while some media outlets have reported that there is humor in this thread, we here at VoU are taking the cautious road and not calling the humor outcome until all the information is in.
