And you?

And you?
By: Richard Davidson on 5/30/2005; 12:21 PM

The internet has been busy as of late; sucking up my thoughts and eating my soul. I've asked it to stop, but it won't answer. Its only purpose is to grow larger, and more cold; ready to destroy mankind at the click of an icon. I've often wondered what machines could offer that our warm flesh couldn't, and there may not be a solution to this puzzle. After all, men built shelter and found food a billion years ago, before they even existed, and still haven't solved that most basic problem of love and ambition. I think the spirit is beyond machinery, and mathematics. Problems can be solved with simple numeric sequences, and yet nothing has changed; always there is a hungry child or a bored person who could have made a difference. All hope, then, lies within an individual of course, but who didn't forsake that logic for a more simple philosophy of team goals and mass turbation?

Well, I didn't.

ps: I chose "poetry" because there wasn't a proper category for this. Please fix that problem with this site immediately. You know what I mean.
