Catch By: ScottN on 5/25/2005; 12:29 AM The other day, I played catch. No pressing reason, no urgent need. No games to prep for, just for fun. I'm not that good, but even so, I taught my daughter how to throw. And yet, My father never played catch with me. He was a jock, a 3 sport man. I was a geek, a klutz, a nerd. So instead we played with chemistry sets, Model rockets, games of chess All these things he did with me But I regret, My father never played catch with me. So there I sat, nose in a book. She asked for me to come outside And grab a glove and play with her. And so I set Tolkien aside And spent the time, and this I know, She won't lament My father never played catch with me.
