Steady Space of Dreams By: Dorothy Marie on 8/7/2003; 1:14 AM Steady space between us lie to catch the thought of my soft eye; Enough for cooling satisfaction of my deathly hungry vision. Reluctant eyelids do not blink; reluctant eyes do fear to sink. The only gift of which I dare to offer up: this starving stare. Your crystal blue of autumn fates coins to me my pretty face; Thus melt beneath your warming glare To be so close to touching dreams.
