Prelude

< < With Sabine Sand and See > >

Prelude
By: Dorothy Marie on 8/5/2003; 12:43 PM

Silver kisses blackened night
Above waves crashing, foaming white.
Billowing clouds of softened gray:
Blankets to tuck the stars away.
And sweet sleep floating on a gentle wind,
Caress this long forgotten skin.
Oh nightly orchestra, play away
To all who listen with minds astray:
A prelude to love and the newcoming day.

I could hear the frogs ribbiting their mating calls from the evening swamp between your lines in this one... excellent analogies, good food for thought.

Ah! So you caught the analogies between the scenery and the love that takes place between two people. ^_^
