Feminine Vengeance
By: Chie Theresa Fujioka on 3/29/2003; 8:23 AM

Would you ever find one
Who'd love you as I've done?
Or could it one day be
You'll regret missing me?

Not a typical Fujioka poem because it had no imageries that could relay your thoughts to a dream-like world.*sigh* It's somewhat like an epigraph though, just telling you something about a brief fact of life that the speaker wanted you to know. :-D

I like it. It makes it's point right away, and doesn't belabor it. Why does it make me think of Glenn Close?

Stevie Nicks says:

"You'll never get away from the sound
Of the woman who loves you "

That turned out to be actually true. All through the eighties and nineties, Lindsey Buckingham couldn't turn on the radio without hearing Nicks singing about something or other.

"Seems like the white wing dove..."

LOL... Is there such a thing as a typical fujioka poem? I thought this was rather typical, since it was all brief... Since I have a series of short poems and a series of imagery. I'm currently working on a piece of prose to submit to my school publication... I think it's about my umbrella which I lost on my train.

Good luck with that. Hey you've been gone for a while. Ben was looking for you; I think he wanted you to do a critique on his poem.
