From Whence They Came

< < Belay that. I Was There In Spirit > >

From Whence They Came
By: Keri on 10/21/2001; 4:58 PM

the sky, dark and foreboding
full of menacing clouds like thoughts
the storm creeps forth like that which will not be denied.
it throws its burden upon the earth

the drops fall, full of sorrow
knowing not where they go or from whence they came
the tearshaped rain plummets to the ground like arrows to the heart.
condemned are the flowers who are beaten but now drink

Welcome!

Hi, Keri, and welcome aboard! Great poem. Could you do us a couple of favors? Give it a title (other than "Keri:", and then write up a bio (as a new message, with your name as the subject). I'll post it to the front page when you've done that...I don't want to make up a title for you.

We just redesigned. Like the new look, I hope?

AY! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I was away from home for a week, visiting friends where I used to live. So now I'm back- wishing I wasn't :) but I checked my e-mail, I changed the title of that silly poem and I've written my "bio." :) Happy?

Keri

Of course I'm happy, I always like meeting new people. After the meeting may be another thing altogether, of course.

Ahem. Feel free to post more writings whenever you want, and participate in the discussion group. Again, welcome aboard.
