Susan

< < Medford, OR And what did we learn today, boys and girls? > >

Susan
By: ScottN on 9/22/2002; 9:39 PM

A light in the storm;
A nymph, wandering through the woods;
A desert oasis;
A vision of beauty unsurpassed
in all the world.

All of these are you, Susan.
Next to you,
Helen of Troy would be a hag;
And the elfin beauty of Galadriel and Undomiel
fades into nothingness.

The say that love is blind.
If it is, may I never see again;
For I love you,
And you alone,
In all the world.

This poem shares the beauty of its pulchritudinous Susan. Nice allusion to Lord of the Rings, as well (I prefered it much more prior to its movie fame).

Just guessing: Susan is Mrs. ScottN. And speaking of a man happily in a relationship, nobody is more lovely than the one you want to spend your life with.

Trust me. Sue is much more beautiful than Cate Blanchett or Liv Tyler!

Ah... you were talking about the Bakshi film. I assumed you were talking about the current movie -- I missed the "animated" comment.
