The oppressed dream By: Margo Doucet on 10/18/2001; 10:30 AM Through the lonely child The pain is kept as a lie So easy to deny Yet ravishing to spy What did I do wrong? To be punished so strong Where did you go? To be lost so low The boy whos seeking Is still sleeping The girl whos dreaming Is still waiting How can she explain? That the blush is her aim How can he remain? Without feeling the strength Is there a speech to tell? In which dialect to spell? Is there a better world than well? In which eyes the true bell?
RE: The oppressed dream By: Mark Morgan on 10/18/2001; 1:15 PM Hey, Margo, welcome to Unreason! You're all published. You can view your published work on your author page, or on the Writings page, or (in this case) on the Poetry page. You have my increasingly silly apologies for the staleness of the home page. I'm moving towards having that thing automated, it's just taking a bit. How did you find us, if I might ask? And, could you post a message with your bio? It'll go on your author page. Grazi.
