Thought 19 (Mourning/Deceased)

Thought 19 (Mourning/Deceased)

In a world of dying life we tend to feel sorrow in passings. However, we should be feeling jubilation at the thought of eternal peace and the life that was lived. Our society only feels happy at life and not death. The reason for this is selfish, as shown in these common statements, “think of the impact the deceased could have made if they hadn’t died then,” or “she could have gone on to do great things.” These are things of benefit to you, society, not the deceased therefore you feel sad. This is why happiness would better show your love and care for the deceased. Besides, I highly doubt that they would want you to be miserable because they get to be at peace. So celebrate life every chance you get, your life and your loved ones. Wouldn’t you rather someone looking back at your life and saying, “she truly made my life better and she touched so many people” as opposed to concentrating on what you could have and didn’t do. Be happy in both Life and Death.
