Monogamy Is A Choice

By Brian Webber

I know I'm gonna draw a lotta heat for saying that but it's true. Have you ever noticed that there some people you know should just NEVEr get maried, because it would be bad for them? On the flip side, ahven't you known someone that you wish WOULD get maried because it could really help them?

I've known both types, and am of the latter myself. I feel like monogmay is my bag. If not one woman for the rest of my life, then certainly one woman at a time. No juggling several girlfirends, or threesomes (not a moral objection. I'm just not interested).

But for some guys (and women) that just isn't who they are dep down, and trying to make them that way can only do harm.

We're not Eagles or Wolves, destined to be mated to the same person for the rest of our lives, but neither are we dogs and cats, predestined to screw everything that looks like it belongs to the same species as us.

We're genetically pre-determined to choose. And some people choose to do it, others don't, and each side tends to hold the other in contempt, and it's not fair. Let those who shouldn't get married stay single, and start finding spouses for those that should.

Thank you for listening to my rant, although I have doubts about it's coherence. I'm not feeling well and the only reason I'm typing this now is so I won't forget to do it later.
