It's so different when it's someone you know.

I still can't quite believe it.

I just learned today that an aqquaintance of mine, I knew him as Malcom Xerxes, died today.

That was bad enough. The man was only 40, still had a life ahead of him.

The circumstances are what blow my mind. I don't want to beleive it. I want it all to be a gigantic fucking hoax played by some scumbag idiot to dishonor the memory of a guy who was always good for a laugh at the View Askew Message Board.

I want to think that we got it all wrong, that it isn't him. But it's all there. I won't say why we knew it was him, in the article. I just hope that his family can recover from this tragedy.
