Hectic Days as a Freshmen

The first day of school- what a hot and humid day in August. The Freshmen arrived at 12:00 noon for picture taking and general information. Our lockers were assigned at this time. We went into the student center, which had the distinct smell of students, books and all the things that remind me of school, like freshly sharpened pencils. My group went to the library to be logged into the computers. Some people had problems, but most begins went quite well. Mrs. Kuhlmeir explained how to use the E-mail system. Our group went to the Honor code station and learned about situations that we as freshmen should not get into of at all possible. On Day 2 another crazy day. The best part was going to Day 1 classes for the first time. Lots of freshmen got lost, but I found the right classroom! Honor code book was signed and we learned about chapel procedures. Lots to learn, sometimes overwhelming. A students chosen sport was officially began today. My choice is swimming, practice begins today! Books are loaded down on us and I feel tired and confused. The first days of school were confusing and hectic, but I can’t wait!
