People are always going around saying that if it were up to them, no one would have to die, and they'd risk injury to save someone's life because, frankly, they're afraid of death. They hate it and despise it. You know how in the movies, there's always someone who's dying or sick or shot or something, and they're laying there going, "Kill me now, please, I beg of you," and then the person who loves/hates them kills them? Well, how many times has that really happened in real life? Even if someone was hurting bad enough to want to die and yet be strong enough to ask that of a friend, a good percentage of the time, the other person will not kill them to end their misery.
As far as I know, just about every religion celebrates death as much as life, so I don't understand why no one I know of respects it. They're all "I don't want to die," and "Please don't leave me," and frankly, I think it's asanine. I think people who can't lean on themselves for help don't understand the concept of death. It is simply the beginning of a new life, where one can start anew without mistakes made from before.
